A must win game | Chelsea vs Huddersfield preview

Chelsea have a must win game in the Premier League tonight. Win and Chelsea keep their faint hopes of Champions League football for next season alive. Win and they go into the final game of the season level on points with Liverpool (albeit with a vastly inferior goal difference). Win and they keep the pressure on Tottenham.

However Huddersfield come into this game on the back of a fantastic 0-0 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad last weekend. Huddersfield come into this game knowing that a draw, one point, just a single point, will be enough to ensure their Premier League survival after Southampton's 1-0 win over Swansea last night.

This will not be an easy game for Chelsea, but they've been in good form recently. They've won their last five games in all competitions, four in the Premier League and one in the FA Cup, including a 1-0 win over Liverpool last time out. The slightly worrying news is that Chelsea won all four of those games by a one goal margin, they struggled to put away chances at times. Remember Huddersfield only need a draw from this game while Chelsea need to win, that means they can set up to keep it tight, make things difficult, and frustrate Chelsea just like they did against Man City. The longer this game remains level, or should Chelsea fall behind, the more frustrated and nervy things could become.

This is not the sort of game I enjoy watching. I'm on edge until the final whistle. Only then can I take a deep breath and relax.

In terms of line-up I don't think there will be too many changes. I think we should stick with the 3-5-2 we've been playing, it has been working well, it seems to give us the right balance that we need. The partnership between Eden Hazard and Olivier Giroud up top in particular looks good, Giroud holds the ball up well while Hazard gets more of a license to find space to affect the game.

In fact the only change I would make is to recall Andreas Christensen in place of Gary Cahill in defence.

As for my prediction. I'm going to go for a 2-0 Chelsea win.
